Slowing the game down

Hanner Mosquera-Perea

His teammates say Hanner Mosquera-Perea (right) is improving by leaps and bounds with his playing time increasing, but coach Tom Crean knows there is much room for improvement in his bouncy freshman forward.

Tom Crean expects Hanner Mosquera-Perea’s minutes-per-game average to rise, but he’s not going to force it up.

    • Zach,
"explosive option from the bench the likes of which Indiana doesn’t currently possess. " I would say that Indiana does have an explosive option coming off of the bench named Will Sheehey...Granted he is not built like Hanner but is an explosive athlelte nonetheless.

That's true. Perhaps I should have parsed that a bit. My meaning was more in terms of immediate assets. Whereas Sheehey's game is more rounded and polished right now, Perea's greatest strength at the moment comes from his athleticism.

You're right on that one. My bad.
