Indiana went into the 2014 class looking for more offensive line help, and the Hoosiers have now taken a big step in that direction.
Rising senior offensive lineman Wesley Martin, who plays his high school football at West Milton (Ohio) Union, committed to Indiana on Monday afternoon, becoming the fourth member of the current recruiting class. Martin announced his commitment via Twitter.
Martin hails from the same high school that produced former two-way Indiana standout Mitchell Evans, who finished his career in 2010. At 6-foot-3, 295 pounds, Milton already brings college-ready size to the offensive line, where it is believed Indiana projects him along the interior. He was a Southwest All-District selection as a junior.
After camping with Indiana last Wednesday, Martin picked up an offer from the Hoosiers, his first from a Big Ten program. Less than a week later, he was ready to take IU up on that offer.
Inside Indiana will have more on this developing story.
