
Indiana has several active alumni in the NFL, and the ranks of former Hoosiers playing professionally has swelled this season, with the addition of Marcus Thigpen to the Miami Dolphins. Each week, InsideIndiana.com will run down how each former Hoosier fared in the previous weekend.
James Brewer — offensive lineman, New York Giants
Brewer did not appear in the Giants’ 27-23 win against Washington last weekend. New York is now 5-2, and Brewer has appeared in two games. The Giants travel to Dallas next weekend for a 4:25 p.m. kickoff.
Tandon Doss — wide receiver, Baltimore Ravens
Doss posted his first career touchdown catch in the Ravens’ 43-13 loss to Houston last weekend. On the season, Doss now has three catches for 60 yards and a touchdown. Baltimore (5-2) has this coming weekend off.
Tracy Porter — cornerback/nickel back, Denver Broncos
Porter posted no stats in the Broncos’ 35-24 win against San Diego. Denver (3-3) hosts New Orleans at 8:20 p.m. Sunday.
Courtney Roby — wide receiver, New Orleans Saints
New Orleans (2-4) had the weekend off. The Saints next travel to Denver for an 8:20 p.m. game.
Roger Saffold — offensive tackle, St. Louis Rams
Saffold is on the bench with a sprained MCL, suffered in September. The Rams (3-4) lost 30-20 to Green Bay this weekend. They next play New England at 1 p.m. Sunday, at Wembley Stadium in London.
Marcus Thigpen — running back/kick returner, Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins (3-3) had a bye this weekend. They next travel to New York for a 1 p.m. kickoff against the Jets.
