Now Alternating between Fischer and Davis. EG10 up 26-11 with 6:56 left in the half, and Fischer has seven of his team's first eight.

The constant comparison that's going to follow Luke Fischer -- Cody Zeller -- is as predictable as it is unfair. But there are similarities here and there.

He is a smart player around the rim. He finishes through contact well. And he is a pretty good passer out of the post, something that probably comes from playing with so many talented guards.

Again, I don't think he's the second coming of Zeller. But he's got some similar qualities, and he's a good player in his own right.

Fischer taking over a little bit now. He's got a couple of dunks and it sounded like his success induced a tech from Illinois Old School's big man. Fischer really is a solid free-throw shooter too. I think I've seen him miss once from there all weekend.
