... in the 2014 Jimmy V. classic.

AWESOME! Can't wait for it!
Your resident Indiana sports highlight editing lunatic.
Not to get off topic. But, are you still producing IU videos. ? The one's you have done in the past have been outstanding.
This is great, I cant wait for this!
mkillian247 on twitter..... I say a lot of stuff you wont care about.
Just a quick note on this:
Rick Bozich if WDRB is reporting Louisville hasn't signed the contract yet, and that the initial Indianapolis Star report is "premature." That said, the Star's report suggests Indiana signed its contract to play Louisville, not just to participate in the Jimmy V Classic.
Working to get more on this right now.

Yes. J.D. Campbell saying it is premature until approved by ESPN.
But I have to ask, why would ESPN, not want THIS matchup ?
Appreciate anything more you can come up for us Zack.
Well the problem isn't on ESPN's end, I think, so much as Louisville's. The Cards haven't signed the agreement yet. There's no indication whether that's just procedural, or if they're mulling it over for some reason.
Again, the hangup on the other end is that it seems like Indiana has signed to play Louisville, not just whichever team ESPN puts on the floor.
Pitino has a dinner reservation at Porcini's the night of the game.
Oh shoot. YOU just crack me up.
At least we know it won't last for more than three seconds !
If it works out I'm certainly happy we'll be playing Louisville, but the Jimmy V Classic part is the even bigger piece to me. Lots of exposure with that event. Love that we'll be a part of that. Hoping I can score some tix too, the CEO of my company was an assistant for Jimmy V at Iona and is on the board of the V Foundation. Fingers crossed!
I can say this. I could not think of a more deserving IU fan than you. Hope you score those tickets as well.....IF this game comes to pass.
The part you wrote, "...not just to participate in the Jimmy V Classic." Could just be the way I'm taking it, but this makes it sound like they are working on more than just this match-up, but a possible home-and-home series (something along those lines). Am I taking what you said out of context, or were you just trying to be sneaky? lol
Indiana leads the Big Ten in NCAA titles (five), wins (64) and appearances (37).
Sounds more like IU has agreed to play in the Jimmy V Classic IF they are matched with Louisville.
Some fans on Demling's site are talking as if this game is a done deal. I don't knuw
One thing for sure..... they don't like IU !
The only way I see this turning into a yearly series, is if we let them beat us in NYC.
You know how these folks from Kentucky are..... once you beat them, they want to quit, and take their ball home LOL
But Kentucky fans say that Coach Crean and IU are scared. Coach Crean doesn't want to play outside of Bloomington, and Coach Cal is willing to play outside of Lexington........ LOL LOL LOL
It was so funny when I was getting in to it with KenStupid fans. I said, Coach Crean WANTS to play in Lexington, and Coach Cal REFUSES to play in Bloomington. Who is scardy cat? (see what I did just there) Then they kept saying, "So, Coach Crean still refuses to play outside of Bloomington and he's scared." (With a little less merit in their text) Then, I rebuttled (big word they couldn't understand) back and said, Coach Crean and IU said that would do a Home-and-Home for 2 years, and then 2 Neutral Road games so each graduating class get's a home game.
They had a hard time coming back from that. Then I got warned after that because most of this back and forth was between one of their head Mods lol. Then, he banned me because I said UK pays for its players!
^^^ Hey JB and fellow members.... Kentucky fans still putting their own spin on why the series died.
Check this out :
Mar 27, 2013; Washington, DC, USA; Indiana Hoosiers head coach Tom Crean speaks to the media during a press conference the day before the semifinals of th
I think it's more that they don't like Crean. Most UofL fans despise him from his Marquette days. Supposedly something about Crean's attitude and mannerisms when Ellis Myles got hurt during a UofL-Marquette game.
Really I think it's just the UofL fans that live north of the river that actually don't like IU. Those that live in the Ville are either indifferent or respect IU and realize they're a good ally in the fight against the Cayuts.
And on that same day the unthinkable happened. I was accepted by the hilljacks. I still have nightmares from that.
"You don't accept in victory what you would not accept in defeat"- Tom Crean
Eff UK. Bring on Louisville.
It's hard to take seriously a blogger that writes "Calipari had just one a championship...". What an utter moron. The fact will always be that the series shut down in the offseason after IU had upset UK in Bloomington on one of the most replayed clutch shots ever and just before IU was scheduled to come to Lexington as a preseason #1 team to play a UK team that eventually lost to Robert Morris in the NIT. If you don't think Crean and his players wanted to play that game, you are a complete idiot/pUKe homer.
We don't need that game. if it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, I'll watch just as much IU basketball and not miss those toothless hilljacks one small bit.
Thanks, Mile! Much appreciated.
