For those who don't know, Tim Noble (Jacobs professor who sings the National Anthem) is intense. His microphone went out during the song, so he just sang really, really loud. Then, of course, he gave David Woodley (Big Red Basketball Band director) a big high-five.

They didn't do the jump-and-bump touchdown celebration though. Sad.
Hulls, Oladipo, Ferrell, Watford and Zeller starting tonight. Shocking.
Same starters: Hulls, Oladipo, Ferrell, Watford, Zeller.
Oladipo literally dove to break up an in-bounds pass less than two minutes into the game. These guys don't take anyone lightly.
Real laziness in Coppin State's desire to get the ball inbounds in a timely manner so far. Nearly gotten five-second calls at least twice.
Indiana hasn't made a shot, and we're 3:25 into the game. Chalk up another slow start against a bad team. I guess they don't hurt as long as they don't come against good teams.
Zeller hits two free throws, Coppin State 4-2.
As expected, Coppin State digs the long ball. Five 3-point attempts already. They've made two, and lead 9-2 early.
IU is dead cold from the field. 0-for 9 nine at the 14:41 mark, with Coppin State up 9-2. Hoosiers getting good shots, and missing them entirely.
Watford makes IU's first field goal, then drops the and-1. IU down 9-5.
Watford makes IU's first field goal of the night, and it's while fighting through contact. He missed the first shot of the game on a pretty similar play, and appeared to make the necessary adjustment on that play. He's fouled and makes the shot.
IU trails 9-5 with 13:30 to play in the first half.
Indiana still shooting horribly, and Jordan Hulls has been remarkably sloppy, but the Hoosiers' defense has Coppin State in a similar predicament. Under-12 timeout finds the score at 9-7 in a game that is as bad as it sounds like it is.
Indiana with eight turnovers so far right now.
This is why you schedule real opponents
I guess Indiana was watching the end of the SEC title game. Hoosiers have seven unanswered since the end of the game. And yes, Murray should have spiked it. The fatal flaw of Mark Richt football strikes again.
Crean quite unhappy with his team at the moment, for any number of reasons. Maybe Kentucky will play them.
Under-8 timeout finds IU on a 12-2 run. Hoosiers making shots. It's pretty much that simple.
Indiana still working out how to attack a zone with any consistency.
Of course, transition baskets beat the zone every time.
Coppin State hitting some contested shots to stay in this one.
Ferrell just looked to Oladipo to call a play, and Oladipo sets one up perfectly so he's left wide open under the basket for an easy bucket.
After another Oladipo score, IU leads 26-19 with 3:32 left in the half.

But Indiana now getting way too much around the rim. Hoosiers cleaning up the glass and breaking down Coppin State's defense. 3:32 left in the half, U up 26-19.
Something I've been meaning to say all half, but my Internet has been spotty at best: longtime Coppin State coach Fang Mitchell is really fun to watch. He's like an angry, yet pensive, version of Scatman Crothers, if that means anything to anyone.
Late corner 3-pointer from Remy Abell in transition pushes IU's halftime lead to 14, 33-19. Hoosiers are shooting the ball terribly and turning it over like they want to, but they're still winning by a pretty good margin. Two teams are combining to shoot 18-of-53 from the floor, with 17 turnovers. Indiana largely in this one because the defense has been smothering. Hoosiers have allowed Coppin State just two assists, and their press is forcing the visitors to take 10 or more seconds each possession just to get the ball down the floor. Again, IU leads 33-19 at the half.
