Hollowell shooting poorly tonight. He's not normally this bad of a jump shooter.

Zeller's gone 10 minutes without scoring, but it doesn't matter sometimes. He's double-teamed in the corner, steps out of it and passes to Ferrell, who finds Oladipo under the basket for two points.
And then on the defensive end, he smacks away a J.P. Tokoto shot.
IU leads 27-25.

IU missing a lot of the shots it usually makes tonight — Sheehey pull-ups, Zeller floaters, Hulls 3-pointers, etc.
Strickland commits an intentional foul on Oladipo on a fast break, to take us into the Under-4 timeout. Hoosiers shooting 41.2 percent from the floor, to UNC's 53.8, and Hoosiers still lead by two. 3:45 left in the half, IU's got the starters plus Sheehey and minus Ferrell on the floor.
This two-pass sequence was particularly impressive.
Must be better on the defensive end. Cody not being involved enough.
Hulls to Oladipo for a dunk on the break. Assembly Hall is on fire.
Greg Graham, Landon Turner and Kent Benson among former players in attendance tonight, by the way.
Last three IU possessions have all produced dunks. Hoosiers much more energetic around the rim than UNC.
Timeout Indiana, as Stephenson hits the first of two from the free-throw line. IU up eight, 44-36 with 8.1 seconds left. This is, ostensibly, to gameplan for the final possession of the half.
Big play from Zeller to end the half. Ferrell forces up a contested layup, Zeller puts back the rebound with about one second left. Strong surge at the end of a frantic half sends IU into the break up nine, 46-37. Hoosiers not shooting well until the end, when all their points started coming at the rim. North Carolina needs to pick up the intensity down low on defense and in rebounding, and in transition. Hoosiers have gotten a lot of too-easy looks down there.
Will post stats in a second.
Oladipo and Zeller co-leading scorers with 13. McAdoo has 10 but went silent from the field in the latter stages of the half.
Ferrell and Hulls have half-again as many assists (9) as UNC has as a team (6).
Hoosiers shooting 46.3 percent, a number bumped up by some late dunks, but defensive crackdown dropped UNC under 50 percent at the end of the half.
Hoosiers outrebounding the Heels 22-17, and they've got a 12-to-5 assist-to-turnover ratio, compared to UNC's 6-to-8.
I think Cody is playing a bit cautiously, knowing that avoiding foul trouble is worth giving up a freebie or two.
I'm out of breath after watching that half, and it ain't because my collar is a little too tight in the shirt I'm wearing.
All of yesterday, we heard (and wrote) about how good UNC's transition game was, but it was IU that ran the Tar Heels off the floor in the first half. Zeller, who runs the floor better than just about every big man in the country, showed it on both ends tonight, and it seemed like he was cherry-picking on both ends of the court.
After starting the half shooting 9-for-25, IU shoots 10-for-16 in the final eight minutes. Zeller and Oladipo both have 13 points. Zeller scored seven in the first four minutes and six in the final three.
Sheehey has 11, Hulls has seven and Ferrell has four assists.
I was referring to Cody on offense. Definitely understand that logic on defense. Christian needs to get it together.
Nice pace on offense with good defense. (I'm behind on DVR still)
We're about to get going here in the second half.
It will get faster. I promise.
Ah. My bad Mr. Marsden.
Brian Evans, Tom Coverdale, Eric Montross all here tonight as well. This game has brought out the finest people.
Somebody's lead hits double digits for the first time, as Oladipo grabs a rebound and sends home a nice reverse layup.
IU putting some distance in between these two right now. UNC has come out of the locker room cold, and they're not working that hard defensively either. Or if they are, it ain't workin'. Roy wants a timeout as the Hoosiers bust the lead out to 19 following a putback layup from Victor Oladipo.
Wow I like this lead.... Heading home soon. Not sure if ill make it. But I'll take a win and not getting to watch
mkillian247 on twitter..... I say a lot of stuff you wont care about.
Out of the timeout, Bullock misses a three and McAdoo has his putback blocked out of bounds by Oladipo, taking us to the Under-16 timeout. IU still up 56-37.
Good to hear.
