I'm a wee bit late, but it's 0-0 in the bottom of the first. It's also cold as cold can be outside. Aaron Slegers gets out of trouble with a flyout to left with runners on first and second. We're headed to the second.

That was the top of the first. My bad.
Filthy breaking ball from Aaron Slegers strikes out the second Miami batter in the second inning. IU went 1-2-3 in the first.
1-2-3 inning for Sleges in the second.
Indiana has it going in the second. Scott Donley records the first-ever hit at Kaufman Field, and then Michael Basil follows that with another. Dustin DeMuth bunts them over with one out, Casey Smith up.
Smith, the coach's son, records the first RBI, with a base hit to deep short. Throw hops twice and misses the bag, but that was a hit. 1-0, runners first and second.
And then Chad Clark bloops a single into right center. Basil scores, Smith to third. 2-0 Hoosiers.
Sojka rolls a fielder's choice to short. He'll reach first, Basil scores.
And then he moves up on a balk.
Inning ends with a long Cureton fly out to left. Hoosiers plate three on four hits, lead 3-0 after two.
Nice pick on a low throw to Sam Travis for the first out of the third inning.
Now Slegers in a bit of trouble, runners on first and second with one out in the third. Would have been first and third, but the lead runner inexplicably stopped at second after taking off before the pitch.
Now it's two outs, as Slegers gets a flyout to center.
Chad Clark spears a liner over his head for the third out, saves a run. IU 3-0 into the bottom of the third.
Pitching change after two innings. Might have been a staff day for Miami. Cinnamon now toeing the rubber.
Schwarber walks and then moves to second on a wild pitch. Likely had it stolen anyway.
And then moves to third on a Donley knock to second, which is bobbled. IU's got first and third, one out.
And then Basil singles up the middle. 4-0 Indiana.
DeMuth lines a single straight into Cinnamon's knee. Kid had just gotten out of the way of Basil's liner the at-bat before.
Shane Kriss will have to check in for Cinnamon, with one out and the bases loaded.
And Casey Smith laces a double to the left-field corner to clear the bases. 7-0 Indiana. Ball hit the line, and actually kicked up some kind of something.
And then Sojka bloops a double to left. Smith scores. 8-0.
Sojka steals third and scores on a balk. Miami's manager out to argue, like anyone in the world knows what a balk looks like anyway. 9-0 IU.
Then Cureton doubles to short left-center. Four players around it and the ball fell anyway.
Then Cureton steals third. IU pouring it on now.
Then Schwarber doubles. Cureton walks home. An even 10-0 now.
Inning finally ends as Travis flies out to short right, but Indiana's up 10-0 at this point. Seven runs on six hits, one error, one left.
