Cleared easily by Bushue.

Patrick Doody into the fray for Matt McKain. Can he add width down the left?
Notre Dame catches Schall out and breaks well, but Shipp sends a weak shot right at Soffner from 20 yards out.
Handball Notre Dame, but Petts' take is high. Set pieces unproductive for Indiana so far tonight.
Clock ticking down toward three minutes in the half, Notre Dame threatening. Lachowecki shot saved easily by Soffner.
Not enough thoughtfulness or activity in the final third right now for Indiana. Then Lax makes an excellent individual run, winning a corner. So I guess I can shove it.
Whoof, ensuing corner reaches the opposite flag before Femi saves it. He pulls back to Lax, whose cross narrowly misses Wall's outstretched hands and Caleb Konstanski's head, as the half comes to an end, still scoreless.
Cagey first half from two teams that both generally have done their best work after the break. Hoosiers good enough in possession, but they've been nearly caught out on the break by a confident, attacking Notre Dame team. Indiana needs something more special than what it's getting in the final third as well. Notre Dame all but taken Zavaleta away around the 18, Kotlov/Oliver noticeably quiet. Femi, Lax good energy as subs, as per usual, but not enough.
0-0 after 45 minutes. Back in about 15.
Femi replaces Oliver, Lax replaces Petts, Doody replaces Schall to start the second half. Lineup otherwise unchanged for Indiana.
Patrick Hodan booked for a foul on Kotlov. Pushed through his back then pulled him a bit. Still, yellow perhaps harsh.
Doody cross cleared to Bushue, who sets up Corrado. Shot deflected, corner ...
That one at least more inventive, as Bushue tries spinning it into the air at the near post from Corrado's effort. Still, Wall collects comfortably.
Indiana comes right back with a driven low cross. Kotlov just misses heading it in. Hoosiers on the front foot early in the second half.
Kotlov nods a long kick from Soffner on to Zavaleta, who should have given it back to him. Zavaleta puts a pass wrong, or I guess it's deflected because it's an IU throw. Ensuing move sees a Corrado cross cleared for a corner, IU's sixth ...
Bushue playing so well tonight. Classy in midfield.
Laziness from Indiana defensively, as Van De Casteele surges forward from defense and puts in Ryan Finley. Weak shot easily saved by Soffner.
Corrado with a beautiful ball swung into the box from the right, just ahead of Kotlov and Femi. Nearly there for the Hoosiers, who are catching Notre Dame out a bit more now.
Femi surges middle and fires wide. Still no shots on goal for Indiana tonight.
Another good cross, this one from Bushue, finds the head of Zavaleta. Almost all the chances coming from IU right now, as Zavaleta sends the ball wide.
Zavaleta will get a break as Andrew Oliver comes in. 22:50 left in the game, still 0-0.
Nervy moment for Indiana, as Soffner can only parry Finley's hard, low shot. Ensuing scrum sees the ball out for an Irish corner ...
And another ...
GOAL Notre Dame, as Indiana caught flat-footed. Van De Casteele got a head to the outswinging cross, no one moved to block, went too wide for Soffner. Good take by the big Notre Dame defender.
Indiana being made to rue not capitalizing on that early dominance, and now the Hoosiers need to rally hard with just more than 16 minutes left.
Another low shot saved by Soffner, who is now crucial.
Indiana has had so many set pieces tonight, with nothing to show for any of them. Hoosiers still scoreless.
