Crean on Oladipo's three fouls on 3-point shots: "Just letting his guard down a little bit and reacting a little bit late. ... One time I thought it was a flop."
Believe he's talking about Austin Hollins' leg kick.
Also says he needs to "remind" his players, including Oladipo, that IU did win, because sometimes they are so hard on themselves.

"For the most part," Crean says, when Fischer asks if he came out of Saturday OK healthwise.
"What you want is somebody that can see, somebody that can move and somebody that, when he gets the ball back, can" make foul shots, Crean says, when asked by a caller about inbounds plays, and why Watford in particular was handling inbounds plays.
In-house question on Minnesota's physicality off inbounds plays late Saturday. Says you can't prepare for it, just have to play through it. But says he has no problem with Saturday's refs because "they allowed two physical teams to play physical."
Crean on outscoring opponents by 30 points in last two games combined: "That's strong. That's a pretty good pace. We just want to make sure we're building on that."
Calls Watford "battle-tested" when talking abut how he's starting games strong.
Caller wants to know how scouting duties are split up when IU has multiple games per week. Crean:
"What we do is we break up the scouting where it's rare that one guy will have one game, two games in a row." Says Kenny Johnson had Penn State, Steve McClain had Minnesota and Tim Buckley has Wisconsin. McClain will take Northwestern and then Johnson Penn State again.
Crean asked about IU doing more alley oops: "I think we can always get the ball up to the rim more."
Also about why IU mixes in zone sometimes: "It really doesn't have anything to do with fatigue ... some of it's through scouting. Some of it's through what we want to do on certain plays. And some of it's through the feel of the game."
Crean asked what he might need to improve on as a coach. He asks caller to "give (him) a hint." Methinks Tom took this one to heart.
Gives canned answer, then says he'll keep specific stuff "between me and the staff." Oh boy.
Talking about Victor Oladipo's 3-point shooting, uses the term "game speed technique," which means the footwork, body form, shooting form, etc. are all becoming much more natural for Oladipo, which in turn has made him a better shooter.
Crean: "Maurice is getting better. He's doing more 5-on-0 and more shooting. ... It'll be a matter of time."
Basically says he's still out indefinitely, but getting better.
Also talking Wisconsin. Says rebounding will be just as important vs. Badgers as it was vs. Minnesota.
Crean: "The bottom line is it's gonna come down to rebounding, and not letting them control the pace off the boards."
This is a really interesting way of thinking about Wisconsin, because Crean points out rebounds let Wisconsin still possessions and thus cut meaty wads of time off the clock.
Caller comes in just to provide Louisville-UConn halftime score, with the Huskies up big. Crean says he doesn't talk in hypotheticals.
In answer to that question about how he needs to improve as a coach, Crean says he needs to "enjoy the wins more."
And now we're done. Look for Wisconsin stuff tomorrow. Stay classy, and stay warm too.
