Reached Collin Hartman's AAU coach, Matt Green, who confirmed the news that Hartman has indeed fractured his left wrist. The injury will require surgery and keep him out for about a month or so.
It's another injury blow to Hartman, who suffered a concussion on the day before Cathedral's opener against Warren Central. The game Saturday — a win at Louisville (Ky.) Ballard in which Hartman scored 18 points and "had a great game," according to Green — was his first back on the court, and thus the first of his senior season.
His inclusion in that last campaign at Cathedral, a program Hartman has helped build into a state title contender, is now on hold at least until the new year, although the injury is not expected to keep him out the rest of the season, at least for now.
