ISU Coaching Position

  • Opened not too long ago after Jankovich left for SMU. I have heard both Buckley and McClain's name tied to the ISU job. Buckley seems to be a more natural fit given likely greater ties to the midwest and Illinois specifically. Think either could end up there? This would be a really good head coaching position for either, IMO.

    Saw a report from Jeff Goodman on a couple of names headed up there for an interview. For what it's worth, neither Buckley nor McClain were mentioned, although they have been tied to the job in the past as you noted.
