Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller are being honored for both scoring 1,000 points in their IU careers. They're presented with special basketballs that provide the details from the games in which they scored their 1,000th points.

Watford and Hulls (the other active members of the 1,000-point club) come onto the court for a photo opp. Kind of interesting to see all four of them together tonight, as this might well be the final game at Assembly Hall for all of them. Not trying to be presumptuous, but it's a possibility.

IU looks a little anxious to make things happen. Already with three empty possessions.

Hoosiers going straight to Zeller on a lot of possessions.

IU being outrebounded in the early going 4-2, but that's more due to their missed shots. IU 2-of-5 vs. OSU 4-of-7.

Defensive intensity cranking up for Indiana at the under-12, as the Hoosiers are starting to outlast the Buckeyes' grinding possessions. A Hulls three is followed by a shot-clock violation/inexplicable Ohio State possession.

Both Sheehey and Hollowell immediately are aggressive. Both of them score while also playing good defense. Sheehey blocked Evan Ravenel to the point that Ravenel ended up on the floor under the basket.

Ohio State's grinding possessions now might be getting into the legs of Indiana players, who don't seem to have quite the same spring in their step heading back down the floor. Still, Hoosiers are in a battle either way.

Worth mentioning that this is when we've usually seen Indiana go on one or two of those mini-runs that put some distance in the game at halftime. Curious to see if it happens with the emotion in this building tonight.
