  • Indiana is down three with Ferrell going to the line for an and-1 opportunity with 7:07 left, and Yogi is the first player consistently breaking OSU down off the dribble tonight. Hoosiers still sorely lacking offensive rhythm, and Ohio State is taking advantage of some poor focus on the defensive boards for second-chance opportunities.

    50-47 Buckeyes, 7:07 left.

  • Ferrell has probably been trying to take it inside a little too much today, but for some reason, it's starting to work. He's gotten a couple shots to fall inside and after this under-8 timeout, he'll have a free throw with a chance to bring IU within two. For now, IU trails 50-47 with 7:07 left.

  • Also, last #FLAGS of the year. Always bittersweet. Or as Christian Watford might say, more bitter, than that sweet.

    He's finding good attacking angles.

  • Indiana has never really taken control of the pace of this game, and it's going to cost them down the stretch. Down six and turns the ball over.

  • Now down nine, and Crean calls timeout. Hoosiers have lacked focus and poise for too much of the night.

  • Indiana down eight with Deshaun Thomas about to shoot two free throws. If not for a Christian Watford 3-pointer it would be 11. Can't say enough about how bad Indiana has been on offense in the last 8-10 minutes. Everything is rushed, sloppy and poorly thought out.

2:30 left, Ohio State up 61-53, and I really don't see a way back in this for Indiana.

  • A lot of numbers not going IU's way this half.

Bench points: OSU has 12, IU has none.

Second-chance points: OSU has six, IU has none.

Points off turnovers: OSU has six, IU has two.

  • Should be said that Ohio State has improved a lot in the last month. That said, Indiana was far too easily sped up and taken away from its customary poise tonight.

Buckeyes by nine and they're going to ice it at the free-throw line.

  • Feels like the team was thinking a little big picture tonight as well

Possibly. Either way, it just wasn't IU's night, and IU loses 67-58. Stay tuned to the site tonight, y'all. We'll have more on the game and more on Senior Night.

  • Buckeye Poster here: Since Thad Matta has put Shannon Scott in the line up wiht Arron Craft the Buckeyes have turned most opponents into "turn-over machines"...they casued 12 Hoosier trunovers tonight, 8 of them steals....they casued Indiana to shoot 39% from the field.....in the last 4 games we have held Minnesota to 45 points, Michigan State to 60 points, Northwestern to 53 points and tonight your Hooiers to 58 points. Most Buckeyes willl be rooting hard for the Hoosiers in the NCAA tournment and congradulations on winning a share of the B10 crown. You have a fine team......the Buckeyes are peaking and will e a tough match in the tournments.....B10 basketball is a tough game...the league is very deep and tough to win......good luck the rest of the way!

  • Another Buckeye poster here, IU has went from the pits to the penthouse, good season IU. It's a lot easier to cheer for you guys than for Michigan. And I cannot say that I'm going to miss Hulls, that kids is a 3 point machine. Good game tonight, looks like we might meet for the tie breaker this season in the B10 tourney. Good luck and congrats on a great season.
