  • If you are referring to 2011-2012, it is way too early. IU will host Kentucky, also an early season tournament vs. 3 to be named teams with Butler coming in as the Championship game of this tournament. (Butler will also host 3 to be named teams-probably the same 3 teams that will play at Assembly Hall). IU will also play Notre Dame in Indianapolis. Dates will be announced later in the summer. The Hoosiers will also host an ACC team in the B10/ACC Challenge.

  • The spring College Basketball signing period begins April 13th. and runs through May 18,2011. It will be interesting to see who IU signs or if they sign any players. Coach Crean is on record as saying he will sign at least one new player for 2011-2012.

  • We certainly will be adding the football sked soon. The basketball sked doesn't usually come out until August or September.

  • Thank you but is this link permanently located somewhere on the site? I used to click the more drop down box and access it that way from Peegs.hoops

Yes. On the main page, scroll down and click the button on the bottom right that says "Inside Indiana Magazine Click here to subscribe." That will get you where you need to go. There isn't a drop-down box yet, but that doesn't mean we won't be adding one. Again, this site is gaining something new almost every day beyond the stories, so bear with us while we get up and running.

  • It appears that the only issues that can be accessed are the last 2 and the first 2 of volume 20. Is there a way to see other issues from this current volume?

Thanks, I read the II as 11 (The older I get, the smaller the fonts get).

No problem, Rooski. It is kind of confusing that we call it a subscriber number then throw two letters at the beginning. It's like that line in Ghostbusters where Ray says, "Listen. Do you smell something?" Not nearly as funny, though. Glad it worked.

Thanks for the info. Kind of strange...not a single Big Ten team has added a player during the spring period so far. That will probably change before it's all said and done, but it still seems a bit odd given the number of graduating seniors in the league.

  • First time in days I was able to locate this Forum/board. Still no IU Basketball news coming out and it has been a week since the signing period began.Only 29 more days left during this signing period. I really would love to see Crean add a Juco point guard and a Juco "Big" for 2011-2012. Iowa did okay with their Juco additions last season. 20 point win over Michigan State & 67 to 65 win over overrated purwho!

I think this is a possibility, although there is no rush to get guys signed. The guys IU might be involved with know their options, and things don't have to get done just yet. It's tough to wait-and-see, but that's what everyone has to do right now.

Unless Tom Crean is anticipating multiple transfers, I believe IU will sign no more than one player this spring. I could be wrong or Indiana might be expecting a small exodus, but there is a lot of talent in the next couple of classes that IU would be forced to pass on if it take two players.

Given a one player limit, which position would you rather have PF/C or PG?
