Hart walks the leadoff hitter, who moves up on a balk. But Hart gets him in a rundown between second and third on a grounder back to the mound.
Hart no problem retiring the next two and the top half is over. He was deliberate but hitting his spots.
Sam Travis just golfed a two-run homer into left field. Wasn't a great pitch to hit, but he deposited it beyond the fence.
Kyle Schwarber singled to set it up. Schwarber said yesterday he thought Travis' late-game heroics would build into a big weekend. That's a good way to start.
2-0 Hoosiers after one.
Hart tossing a few into the dirt this inning. Schwarber has done good defensive work keeping everything in front of him.
Two outs, runners at the corners for OSU.
Hit and run works to imperfection, as Hart gets Greg Solomon to chase a bad pitch out of the zone for strike three and out three.
Chris Sujka follows his rookie partner's example, slamming a two-run homer to left field. No doubt on that one.
4-0 IU in the second.
Cureton grounds into a double play to end the inning, but Ohio State starter Brian King is fooling nobody. Even the outs have been hit hard.
Hart struggles pretty badly with his control but still powers through the third inning, leaving a runner stranded at third.
Bottom half, 4-0 IU.
Schwarber and Travis about three combined yards from home runs, but IU goes three up and down in the third. Still up 4-0.

King strands Dillon Dooney at second in the fourth. Headed to inning five, Indiana still up 4-0.
Cureton with an impressive leaping grab in left center to save a run and get Kyle Hart out of the fifth unscathed. Hoosiers still up 4-0. Cureton's catch was web gem stuff.
Well Cureton kept Tim Wetzel from scoring so Wetzel returned the favor, robbing Cureton of extra bases with a sliding catch at the wall. Still IU 4-0 after five.
1-2-3 for Hart, who is dealing again.
Indiana goes down in order. This one is humming along nicely. Still IU by 4 with six innings gone.
Well Ohio State has something going, runners on first and second with two outs in the seventh. First runner in scoring position for the Buckeyes since the third.
Hart balks again, moving both runners up, but then he induces a 6-3 groundout to end the inning.
And then Michael Basil lifts a home run to left center that just kept carrying until it left the park. Wasn't sure that one would get out.
Sujka skips a double over the third-base bag, but he's caught off second as Tim O'Conner lines out hard to short.
Hart out for the eighth with a 5-0 lead. Right at 100 pitches now.
Hart strikes out the side, giving him eight on the afternoon. Dude is unflappable.
Indiana in firm control, up 5-0 through 7 1/2.
Ryan Halstead in to try and finish this off. Indiana up 5-0 and on cruise control since the start.
