Crean is out of control. He confronted Aaron Craft over nothing. He is Bobby times 10. He will self destruct

Knight times 10? Please. I have no problem with people calling out Crean for this incident but the idea that he's "out on control' is ridiculous. That's pure message board nonsense.

I'm a Buckeye but I thought Crean's comments to Aaron Craft were way out of line, if not "out of control". I'm quoting from a Lee Caryer sports247 article: After Ohio State defeated Indiana in Bloomington March 5, while the teams were exhibiting sportsmanship by shaking hands, Crean told Aaron Craft something like, “You need to show respect for Indiana basketball. Remember, I have votes for conference honors and I can get you.”
Threatening a player with his vote for all-conference honors is inappropriate by any standard. In any case, despite NOT being voted to the all-conference team by coaches like Crean, Craft did win the outstanding player award at the B1G TEN Tournament in a direct rebuke to coaches like Crean.

In addition, in the same thread, there is a comment: " I have also heard that referees have noticed Crean has trouble with self-control. When I hit Tom Crean on a search engine I found an article by Seth Davis to the effect that Crean has a problem of losing himself in competition - games and recruiting were mentioned - and that he wants to address it. It is a conference responsibilty to help him grow-up."
Although I virtually always vote for B1G TEN teams when they play against non-conference opponents, classless Crean presents a dilemma. Hopefully, he will get himself under control and represent the B1G TEN admirably with class in the forthcoming NCAA tournament. Right now, Indiana represents the B1G TEN's best opportunity for a national championship and I'm sure the entire B1G TEN is rooting for them as long as Crean doesn't "jerk-off" inappropriately in the national spotlight. One can win with class !
