2nd offensive drive stalls, but Coffman switches to the 1 O. We're going to see them switch a lot today. Coffman completes a couple of short passes to Jamonne Chester. Those two seem to have a little bit of chemistry.

Stephen Houston with a nasty hesitation move that leaves Ryan Thompson stumbling to the ground. Houston rips off a loooong run to the two-yard line. But then Houston is stopped on successive carries inside the five.

And then on fourth down, Roberson pulls the ball back and runs it in. Slow-played that one as far as possible. Ewald's extra point means the Cream now lead 7-0.

I think it's fair to say the tackling improvement Kevin Wilson wanted has been at least apparent today.

Also, David Cooper is with the first-team defense, and Jacarri Alexander with the second team.

Lawrence Barnett has made some nice plays at corner, and Ryan Thompson is running with the first-team defense as well.

In Mellencamp. Cream hit a field goal and is driving again. First sustained drive under Coffman.

Drive stalls after a third-down pass to Shane Wynn falls incomplete. Might have been a hold there.

Watching from the field level is a much different perspective. I had forgotten just how fast the action is when these guys are play full speed. Incredible.

Also, we are stationed behind the end zone where the teams are driving. A great vantage point for watching plays develop.
