Syracuse is struggling right now

  • I have them losing to Vandy so this wouldnt be all bad if UNCA could actually pull the upset

  • The whistles seem to be blowing Syracuse's way in the second half. They are the aggressor offensively right now, but they're getting away with a lot of contact inside on the defensive end. Could be because they're so much bigger, but still a foul is a foul.

  • Looks like the upset is going by the wayside. Now you need Vandy to overcome its slow start, Old Oaken, or your East bracket will be rocky.

  • The lane violation was close and is a tough call at that juncture in the game, but if they called it on the guy with inside position, I thought his foot was in the lane just barely. If the called it on the guy coming from behind the shooter it was an awful call.

  • Ashville gave it a go. If Dickey had been able to hit anything, the Bulldogs probably pull of the upset. Feel awful for him, you don't want to see any player end a career with a bad outing (or an injury llke Verdell).

    I stand corrected. Apparently, it was a legit call on the player running in from behind the shooter. I've never seen that called, but a rule is a rule.
