Coursen-Carr escapes with just one run allowed in that first inning. Have to think he's thanking Michael Basil in the dugout.

Sounds like the crowd is behind MSU or they brought a ton of people
mkillian247 on twitter..... I say a lot of stuff you wont care about.
I believe both leadoff batters in the IU-Louisville game walked in their first plate appearance. Tonight, both leadoff guys have come out swinging.
MSU treating this like a sprint, not a marathon. 9 innings a long way to go with relievers.
Quick inning, still a long way to go.
Pretty sure that is a changeup and it really kept IU out in front.
Two strikeouts and a flyout for Indiana in the bottom of the first...the IU offense picking up where it left off last night. I believe Schwarber has struck out four straight times.
Carr recovered like a Senior there. 1 run won't win this game.
Credit to the way Coursen-Carr has settled down. MSU goes 1-2-3 in the second, Indiana has Donley, Basil and DeMuth due up. 1-0 Bulldogs.

That's more like it.
MSU is playing like me when I try and run a mile. I start off fast and then 1/4 th the way around the block I tire out. Hopefully they tire out soon.
The perfect game is over
There we go
Tie game after two complete. Casey Smith's single scores Michael Basil to put IU on the board.
Carr really gets behind in the count too often. If he gets that together, could have a great career at IU
Agreed. Walks make me so angry
Very lucky he didn't get hurt there.
Then comes back and throws a great breaking ball
This is a rather typical start from Coursen-Carr this season. He gets himself into spots of trouble, doesn't look incredibly sharp and generally seems off, but he pitches out of a lot of this stuff.
Great job getting out of that.
Again, Justin Cureton turns what initially looks like a hit into an out. With runners going, he runs over and gloves a soft liner that easily would have scored a run. Entering the bottom of the third, this one's still tied, 1-1.
Coursen-Carr gets out of another jam. He threw more pitches in that inning, however (25), than in the previous two combined (24).
Again, can't say enough about what Justin Cureton means in a park that big. If the kid can even hit .250 in the minors he's got a shot at playing pro ball.
Seems like we could be saying that a lot tonight with WCC.
Not on cue, but he strikes out on three pitches.
Yea, Im just post padding with mine.
