Had to get this going!!!
Got swept by the Rangers, but still lead the NL Central.
Indiana leads the Big Ten in NCAA titles (five), wins (64) and appearances (37).
Yeah, the sweep sucks, but we can't win them all! They could just be getting tired and looking ahead to the all-star break. We'll be just fine.
Just "Dirty Birds"!
Still the best record in baseball.
Always great to have Hwy. Cards really need to take advantage of this next series, and go on a run. Cardinals have been doing great because of all the injuries. Need to get healthy soon though, because we need healthy bodies to stay fresh for a good post-season run.
We've hit a lull. Maybe the sweep and the day off will be a little kick in the ass moment.
Dance like nobody's watching... or you're Joe Kelly
Now this a thread I like
mkillian247 on twitter..... I say a lot of stuff you wont care about.
Nothing like the L'astros for a slump buster. Gonna miss those guys in the Central. Now the Pirates are good it's not a cakewalk anymore. Oh well, best record in baseball anyhow.
Cardinal red runs deep in HSN. The only problem is one of us is a purdont fan. Sometimes I feel kind of greasy and slimy talking nice to boiler.
Whos the PU fan around here?
stlboiler23, I think I got the name right. We just all call him boiler (when we're feeling nice.)
Yes you do have that right.
This is a new year. A new beginning. And things will change.
It seems like when the birds don't do well at the start of the season they seem to be the comeback kids in the end.
Great to see everyone, including Oaken over here. Cardinals, Braves, Reds, and Cubs were the top teams on HSN. We love our Cardinals.
I live in an give and take situation. I live in St. Louis so I get to watch the Cardinals all the time, esp. live. However, it makes it extremely difficult to go an IU game!
Good solid win last night to get that sweep off their backs. They better not put up a goose egg tonight after scoring so many runs last night. Hate it when that happens! haha
I usually make it to about 4-5 cardinals game a year but everyone of them is on TV here. I'm pretty much centrally located between STL and Bloomington so it's pretty easy to get to both. Only about 2-2.5 hours from each.
Are you a Southern Illinois or Southern Indiana guy like myself? I lived on the Illinois side of Princeton and Evansville, IN.
For anyone wanting to catch the games that are not televised, I have found a nice little site. I've been checking firstrow and wiziwig, but they hardly ever have them.
They must be on the other side of the Prime Meridian, because tonight's game is listed as 6/27/13 at 1-4 am. Tonight's game is working just fine.

Lynn is looking sharp tonight. Hopefully he can keep it up and get #11
Edit: Was looking sharp
Ugh, was hoping to pull one out last night. Cards just in a little bit of a loss slump. I can see the guys being tired with having to play a lot due to all the injuries. Need to get the healthy bodies back! Still tied for first in the Central, but need to start kicking it into gear and beating the teams they should!
These losses are all on Jaybob. He got drunk on cheap beer one night and scared all the guys when he showed up shirtless and full mullet! They haven't played well since!
When you have such a high powered offense like the Cards have, slumps will happen. They'll find that groove. Remember last year they struggled for a few series' scoring runs, and then they exploded for like 40 runs over 3 games? That'll happen again. Not worried, now, if Cincy was tied with us, I'd have an issue, but its Pittsburgh, and they've been known to choke a lot.
Hoping Miller and the boys can pull on out tonight. Should be a really good game and series between two really good teams. I hope that we can start to get out of the slump we've been in lately.
West Coast games, 10 pm start times in the ET. hate that!
Great outing by Waino tonight. Complete game, giving up 5 hits. Hope this is the start of a good winning streak.
